Born into the wealthy Simpson family, free-spirited Willow is determined to make her own way in life. Cooking is her one true love, and she is content to keep it that way. Romance has never been on her agenda, but she suddenly finds herself in the middle of a deliciously decadent love triangle. With two gorgeous men vying for her attention, she vows to keep her distance from both, but the tantalizing chemistry is hard to ignore.
Unfortunately, it seems that someone wants to get rid of Willow, making her already tricky situation that much more difficult. One crazy night changes everything, and Willow’s life is turned upside down. Between thwarting her own murder plot, keeping her divinely tasty admirers at bay, and trying to stay on the good side of her finicky cat, Omelet, Willow’s plate is full. With far too many cooks in the kitchen, will she be able to stay alive long enough to figure out who wants to kill her?
Ten years ago Hope West left her hometown, attempting to outrun dissolved relationships, family secrets, and the broken heart caused by her first love, Samuel Mooney. When unforeseen circumstances force her to return, she realizes that her time away has done little to heal the pain of the past.
Never intending to stay in Woodridge, Hope slowly begins to understand that remaining there may be the only way to secure her future. Blossoming friendships and the discovery of a box of letters revealing the identity of her mysterious father all point Hope in the direction of reconciliation.
As she begins to mend her broken bonds, Sam reenters her life in an unexpected way, forcing her to decide if true love can really stand the test of time.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember! Writing has always been a part of me. I've been writing professionally since my first book was published in September of 2015.
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
The overriding message in all of my books is that true love always wins out in the end, and that happy endings really can happen.
What books have most influenced your life most?
The books that influenced me the most would have to be the Anne of Green Gables series. I read them over and over again as a child, and they are part of the reason I wanted to become a writer.
What book are you reading now?
Right now I'm reading The Sister Queens by Sophie Perinot.
Can you share a little of your current work with us?
My current WIP is currently untitled, but it is the sequel to Love At First Crepe, my humorous Romantic Mystery that was released in July.
How did you come up with the titles?
Titles generally come to me while I'm writing. I often begin a book without knowing what the title will be. Usually something just jumps out at me.
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
I would say that if you like a little bit of mystery, a little bit of suspense, and a whole lot of storyline and relatable characters you will love my books!
What do you want your legacy to be and why?
I hope that my legacy is one of hope and love. I think there is enough turmoil in life, and I just want to leave a little bit of light wherever I go.
If your book was made into a film who would you like to play the lead?
In my most recent release, Love At First Crepe, I could see the part of Willow being played by Emma Stone.
