Eric Nordstrom runs his life like he runs his multibillion dollar business… with precision and focus. He never lets his emotions get in the way of what he wants. But Celeste Hart intrigues him with her gentle character even though he can’t help but suspect her motives.
After blackmailing her into marriage to protect his reputation, his family falls under demonic attacks. And he has to face his own past to protect his new family.
The threat of a supernatural war…
Bound together by more than passion, Celeste and Eric soon realize they will have to work together to defeat the evil headed straight for them. Shadowed by danger they enter a world they didn’t know existed.
When the Fae and demons collide, all hell will break loose.

Professionally? Well my first book was published in 2013. But I've written stories either in my head or in a notebook all my life! :)
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
Yes. Hope. There is always hope. No matter how desperate or dire the situation. You are stronger than you know when faced with horrific obstacles. There's always hope.
What books have most influenced your life most?
My first romance novel was The Flame and The Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss. My mom let me read that book when I was like 8 or 9 years old. I kept rereading it until the pages came out! That one book led me to other authors, like Nora Roberts, Stephen King, John Grisham. I totally fan girl over Heather Graham and Sherrilyn Kenyon and Sylvia Day. Love all their books!
Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
Yes! I had only been in Jonesboro Arkansas for a little while (we moved here from Charleston, South Carolina) and I ended up losing someone I thought was my best friend. I kind of went into a depression that summer. That was the year I wrote VEILED SECRETS (which sold and now is getting re-released in May). The more I wrote the more I lost myself in the story and the characters. That summer I ended up at a one day workshop where Jodi Thomas was teaching a class. She encouraged me to join RWA. I did and I've been writing every since!
VEILED SECRETS will be re-released on May 15. This was my first book and I'll share the blurb

And only one side will be left standing.
I'm re-reading Lisa Gardner's FEAR NOTHING
If your book was made into a film who would you like to play the lead?
For VEILED SECRETS I would want Alexander Skarsgard to play Eric Nordstrom. And Julianna Hough to play Celeste.
