“What’s love got to do with anything?”Physical attraction and chemistry were everything.
One woman? Gray had tried that and failed.
Meaningful relationships weren’t something Gray Dennison had ever experienced or coveted during his many years on the road with his band, CraVed. Being unattached suited his simple, hedonistic, playboy lifestyle. Add his cocky, sometimes arrogant attitude, and the lead singer of a rising rock band had all the credentials to be a wealthy, charismatic Rock God, stateside.
With his heart throb physique and handsome features, Gray was an obvious magnet for beautiful groupies. It wasn’t his fault they kept falling for him.
The constant revolving door of fangirls, models, and others on offer, made sure Gray’s physical needs were always met. In all his adult years only three women had made the slightest dent in Gray’s armor.
That was until he raked the burning embers of a second chance romance with an old flame, a mistake of going backward, and a drunken heart-to-heart with his best friend, Brody.
The culmination of these events opened Gray’s mind to reconsider the choices he made, face the hurt of his past, and find the courage to seek the answers he needs to salvage his future.
Missing beats happen in a fraction of time. For Jo and Kane they changed their lives in ways neither could have ever imagined.
To Jo, rock stars = Fame. Money. Music. Sex. A lifestyle she literally has no respect for.
Josie Carmichael's no rock star.
She's not even famous and she doesn't particularly like musicians, but when a boy from her childhood reconnects unexpectedly, her life is put on hold.
With opposing lifestyles and conflicted feelings for the special boy she used to know and the sexy-as-sin man Kane is now, will she ever find common ground?
Strangers as adults with a strong childhood bond, Josie and Kane's world becomes closer than either of them could ever have fathomed.
This brings emotional challenges beyond anything they could ever prepare for, or have imagined.
Gibson's Legacy and Trusting Gibson are now available in one convenient, discounted bundle.
Gibson Barclay has been famous for almost seven years and he's only twenty-four.
The sexy charismatic bad boy levitated to Rock God status lived his life his way much to the dismay of his publicist and image consultants. He made no excuse for who he was and with no ties he answered to no one. From teenage bar musician to mega rock star, Gibson had seen and done it all.
The legacy Gibson built for himself as a promiscuous womanizer left girls fantasizing about him while men envied his rock idol status and bad boy, manwhore lifestyle. Insatiable lust and sex was his legacy. Only one person ever made Gibson feel uncomfortable about the way he lived his life. No one ever said no to him that he can remember, although there were two minute events that he has never been able to shake from his mind.
Both of those events involved the way Chloe Jenner looked at him. It was something and nothing, but for him, the impact haunted him. In the strangest twist of fate, something so wildly obscure occurred, that set his mind ablaze with the memory of that small encounter.
Like all women, college student Chloe found Gibson striking and had even shared with her friends, her own guilty fantasy about him. Fantasy and reality were poles apart and Chloe believed that Gibson Barclay never even knew that she existed.
Years later, she found herself thrown into his world with no immediate way out. Taking a chance on Gibson Barclay was something Chloe never envisioned in her future but when circumstances left her relying on him while still dealing with her own dark event, Chloe's confidence was at an all-time low. As the media had an insatiable thirst for new information about Gibson and his life it left Chloe constantly watching over her shoulder, fearful her past would rear its ugly head again.
Gibson promised to protect Chloe, but how could he keep her safe from the past that still haunts her with his life in the spotlight? When Gibson's trust is put to the test how will he react.
Life had never been easy for Rock God, Flynn Docherty. At a tender age, he'd locked down past personal tragedy, hurt, and pain to make his life bearable when most would have crumbled from what he witnessed. When Valerie Darsin entered into his life their instant attraction later grew into the kind of love that most of us can only dream about, after she'd survived her own traumatic event.
In many ways, they were two hearts that beat as one sharing a love so profound and rare they were destined to be together. Can two damaged people with tragic pasts really be what each other needs?
Unlucky in love, Valerie's trust issues are never far from the surface and with her past full of hurt, and a man like Flynn, can Valerie ever truly accept how he feels? Driven in business Valerie is a ball-breaker but less confident in affairs of the heart. Do values like trust, honesty, love, and commitment really survive in a world where a rock star has millions of followers who are willing to do literally anything for their idol?
Life for Flynn and Valerie hadn't always been easy. A series of tragedies finally brought them together, and twists of fate made them what they are. An undeniable love keeps them together, but is young love enough in a world full of temptation? With Flynn's career on the line can he accept what Valerie proposes? He knew he could trust her with his heart, but is that the same as believing in her? He knew she could be persuasive and he wanted to give her the world, but was she ready to take the world on with him?
When Martin Darsin invites his bad boy roommate Flynn Docherty home for the Thanksgiving holiday no one is ready for the journey that follows. The undeniable attraction between Valerie and Flynn is palpable but with the barriers they face will Valerie ever be ready for Flynn?
Valerie Darsin was loved and cherished by her brothers and boyfriend. Her small town world was happy and secure until a sudden betrayal forced her to flee. Returning home, Valerie found support in Flynn Docherty-a guy who left her with unfamiliar feelings when he disappeared from her life. Valerie learned to move on, until a life-changing event brought Flynn back, but was she ready? Has she ever been Ready For Flynn?
I’m really excited because I just released my thirteen book, Notes On Love. It’s an unhurried angsty story which takes us through Gray Dennison’s journey and how he views his relationships with two women. The book took quite a long time to write by my standards but I felt the extra time was worth it to convey the sentiments of a man like the character Gray is.
I’m also writing a short novella for March of Dimes charity in the USA. It is about Niamh, a housekeeper and Lee, Flynn’s close protection detail from the Ready For Flynn series. I think it releases in August and Love Kissed Books is involved.
I’m also writing a novella for the Last Score series. (Gibson’s Legacy and Trusting Gibson.) This is part of an anthology also and I can’t really say more about that at this time.
I’m also writing Rick Fars story from the Everything Trilogy. Rick is a wayward Rock God and his story is taking shape nicely. I plan to release this on the fourth anniversary of the Everything Trilogy’s first release in December.
What inspired you to write your first book?
I wrote my first book after a challenge from a friend. It was never intended for publication. Once challenged to write a chapter of a book I was encouraged to keep writing as the friend reading told me to keep going. It became a bit of fun that turned into the Everything Trilogy.
What was the title of the first book?
It was called Enough Isn’t Everything.
How did you come up with the title?
All my titles are lifted directly from something a character says in the text of the book itself.
Lily has a relationship with a man who feels what they have is enough. Lily wanted a whole relationship and says enough isn’t everything. As soon as I saw the line I lifted it and checked no one else had that title. Once I confirmed that it was clear to me it should be the title.
Who designed the covers?
Russ Cleary designs all my covers. We consult about what I want and he puts it all together.
What books have influenced your life most?
I’d have to disappoint and say it has been text books and journals that have influenced me most in my life. I have studied in my day jobs for most of my life and it’s the knowledge I’ve gained from those that I use most in my books today.
If any of your books was made into a film who would you like to play the lead?
If The Last Score series was made into a movie I’d choose Adam Levine for the lead man Gibson Barclay.
If ‘The Everything Trilogy’ was made into a movie I think Alfie Black would have to be someone younger like
William Moseley
Flynn
Jake Sandvik
