She survives on a diet of too many books and substantial amounts of root beer and slim jims. When not reading, she’s lavishing attention on her family or inhaling every episode of The Walking Dead and The Big Bang Theory.
"John Doe" was just another patient. A criminal.
As a prison nurse, I knew the rules: do my job, don’t get involved, and never let a prisoner get under my skin.
I broke all three.
My passion, my obsession, my addiction. I risked my entire life so we could be together.
I thought helping him escape from prison would be the hard part.
It turns out when you fall in love with a villain, you also turn into one.
Book 1 Anchor -- Gabriel Rossi has never met her, doesn’t even know her name, but the former Marine turned Coast Guard will do anything to rescue the woman who saved his daughter, even if it means risking his career, his life–and his heart.
Book 2 Warrior -- Benjamin Montgomery returns home from his last tour in Afghanistan a broken man and learns the night he shared with his best friend’s little sister resulted in more than just smokin’ hot memories.
Book 3 Survivor -- Jack Walker doesn’t want anything to do with the woman who broke his heart–or at least that’s what he keeps telling himself as they embark on a poignant journey through the secrets that tore them apart.
Book 4 Savior -- Logan Blackwell has never let a suspect–or a woman–get away and made it his own personal mission to solve the recent attacks plaguing his small town with the help of his intriguing new neighbor.
Book 5 Honor (a First to Fight novella) -- Scott Green doesn’t believe in second chances, until he’s caught off guard by a kiss from a beautiful woman and is determined to win her back.
Caroline Abernathy has lost her mind. Perhaps it was the bump on the head she took when she nearly drowned in the ocean or maybe the stress of grad school has finally proven to be too much. Whatever the cause, she finds herself alone in a strange underwater world and at the mercy of a ruthless pirate.
Everyone has a price, at least according to the Pirate Prince, Ezra Castle. In order to purchase the fare needed to bring her home, Caroline agrees to spend the remainder of the voyage on his ship, helping him locate the priceless artifact she cost him.
What starts as a simple journey turns deadly when their ship is attacked by a band of assassins. Stranded, wounded, and without transportation, Caroline and Ezra will have to rely on each other to make it back alive.
Life and love are on the line and time is running out. Tick Tock.

Nothing satisfies me anymore.
I'd abandoned my dreams of making it big in New York, freed myself from my last relationship, and swallowed my pride by returning to my hometown of Karim, Texas.
A chance to forget about my failures and make a fresh start.
By accepting an invitation to an exclusive establishment known only as The Club, I want to indulge in my forbidden passions. Maybe one night exploring my fantasies will finally allow me to move on to the respectable doctor I'd just met.
But after one encounter with the mysterious stranger in the secluded room, I fear one taste of him will never be enough.
Caught between the dream man my heart is falling for and the stranger who satisfies me in ways I’ve only dreamed of, I learn the cold, hard truth.
No one can ever cure me of my darkest desires.

It wasn’t until Sullivan Thomas lost her parents in a car accident that she learned about the gift she inherited from her mother—though it felt more like a curse. A single touch is all it takes for her to see the past, be it a person’s or an object’s. When Sully meets Declan, a rugged Woodland Creek local, she finds herself blissfully unable to read him and even though something about him screams danger, Sully surrenders to desire.
A bear-shifter with a violent past, Declan Cain lives a present void of emotional entanglements. His solitary life in the vast forests of Woodland Creek is all he needs. Though when he meets Sully, the last thing he wants to do is cut her loose.
When her gift shines light on Declan’s past, the two are thrown into a whirlwind of mystery and intrigue. Danger mounts and secrets are revealed and the two must decide if risking their hearts is a price too high to bear.
Sera Flaherty would rather take lumps of coal and be committed to the naughty list for life than admit that she has a role to play in her failing marriage. She deludes her way into a negative bank balance and is left with no chance of getting her husband Spencer a present. When faced with the reality of their relationship, Sera finds she’s willing to sacrifice anything to fix her mistakes and find her husband the perfect gift…even if doing will cost more than she bargained for.
My upcoming Dark Romance, TOXIC, releases August 22. I can't wait to share!
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
If anything the message is that love conquers all.
How much of the book is realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
HA! Well as it's dark romance I've had to pull from some dark places. The prison setup is completely based on information gleaned from my Mom. She was a correctional officer for most of my life. The initial chapters are set in Upper Michigan, where I lived for one bleak year under a blanket of snow. Aside from that, the relationship and circumstances are purely fictional.
Who designed the covers?

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
Sustaining the emotion / flow. I like to write descriptive, emotionally charged scenes and it can be hard to do so allll the time or when you're re-reading for the 100th time.
When and why did you begin writing?
I think, as it's true for a lot of authors, I was born knowing I wanted to write. I loved reading at an early age and my first official book was called Cat and Mouse are Friends and I was maybe seven? I wrote on and off after that until I turned 24 and started taking it more seriously. I met a fellow author, Alana Albertson, and she encouraged me to pursue my dream.
What book are you reading now?
For the most part I read historical almost religiously. Anything Lisa Kleypas. :P
If any of your books was made into a film who would you like to play the lead?
If TOXIC were made into a film, I'd love for an actor to really capture Gracin's twisted insides. The first person who comes to mind (who doesn't necessarily look like I'd picture Gracin) is Mark Wahlberg. His character in the movie Fear is so well-acted I both love and fear him at the same time, which is exactly how I imagine Gracin.
Do you have a blog/website?
I certainly do! http://www.authornicoleblanchard.com/
