Bellarosa life changed drastically when she was sixteen. She did not have any choice in these changes, especially having her freedom stripped away. For three years Bellarosa wishes for her freedom. She had to grow up a lot and now she has a plan to escape. She refuses to be trapped in that life anymore.....Dragon is the president on the Savage and has a lot of responsibilities on his shoulder, including his daughter. Dragon does not make the best decisions when it comes to women and it has affected both his personal life and they club. His just wants a good mom for his daughter and an Old Lady he can be proud of. When Bellarosa first crosses his path he knows she is different. While Bellarosa wants freedom she knows from first sight that should wants to to be with Dragon in anyway she can.
This is my first book by the author and give it four stars. I have mixed feelings about the book. In one way the book is well written and there are many aspects to the story line. The author does a great job at addressing many conflicts and explaining certain circumstances and situations. While this book can be read as a standalone I feel like reading the previous books would give some background to the underlying issues and relationships in the club. The reason the book loses a start for me is because I didn't not connect to the H or h at any point while reading. Dragon has many redeeming qualities but still comes off as a selfish jerk. There were times I really wanted to check his age again. He was a 40 year old man who handled things, especially with Bellarosa, like an adolescent. And while I realize Bellarosa is an adolescent who had to grow up fast since her teenage years were stripped away, there weren't many times were I felt sorry for her and was truly routing for her. Not that I was against either of them, there just wasn't anything the mase we want to seem them truly together. And while I will try not to spoil things the branding and the second kidnapping did not sit well with me.
Overall this is a decent book with an interesting story line. I will go back to read the previous books to see of they make me see this book in a different light.
There is an HEA.

Nineteen-year-old Bellarosa has lived the past three years locked away in a tower, freedom, being only a myth she could fantasize about.
She has tried to break free of her chains but has failed at every attempt. That is, until a friend turns a blind eye and allows for her to escape her confines.
The president of the Savage Beast MC is no easy role to play. Neither is being a single father. His focus has always been his club and his daughter.
At almost forty, Dragon is convinced he will never find a woman to call his own, not unless he buys her.
Both lost souls searching for freedom. Both stumbling upon one another. Unsure if they can trust each other. She searches for happily ever after. He will never be her prince charming.
When two people who learn to trust despite their pasts come together, they become an unstoppable force, something that not even the devil could split apart.
